Tara Walker, Technology Specialist with Microsoft will give a presentation on
Yukon and the Developer (SQL Server 2005).
Tara
has an extensive background working with some major companies in
Atlanta, GA, before joining Microsoft. Her past has included
several technologies including some non-Microsoft ones, but at this
time she is focused on the .Net technologies at Microsoft.

handouts and pizza will be available on a first come

Yukon and the Developer (SQL Server 2005) Soon there will be a
new database in town. SQL Server 2005 - the database formerly
known as Yukon... So why do you care? What will it do for
you as a developer - and what do you have to do for it? Find out
what is new and what it means to you as a developer.
Tara Walker is a Native Atlantan and before joining Microsoft,
Tara spent 10 years as a Software Engineer/Developer in Atlanta, GA working with companies
like Bellsouth Telecomm, Time Warner/Turner Broadcasting, and Georgia Pacific.
Tara’s technical journey has afforded her the opportunity to develop systems with Unix, Linux,
Windows and several varying software development languages including .NET (C#), Java, and C++
to name a few. Currently she is a Technology Specialist for MS. |
